Bolivia vs Paraguay Predictions and Betting Tips
Bolivia would be keen on building on a rare win as they host Paraguay in the CONMEBOL World Cup Qualification this Thursday. Read on for our expert tips and predictions.
Paraguay lead seven wins to four over the last 16 meetings with the remaining vie ending in stalemates. They also prevailed in their most recent meeting with the aid of a 3-1 score line.
Massive six-pointer on the cards
Having lost their last three qualifying matches, Bolivia finally picked up all three points in their most recent game against Peru. Ramiro Vaca's strike eight minutes from time decided the encounter on Sunday as 10-man Bolivia went home with maximum points. This would be only their second win in 11 CONMEBOL qualification matches and we expect them to use this momentum to keep their qualification hopes alive. Nonetheless, there's still work to be done given that they're six points adrift of their final qualification spot and another win would certainly be a step in the right direction.
Paraguay started the CONMEBOL World Cup qualifiers quite well as they went unbeaten in their first five games. There has been a massive dip in for Eduardo Berrizo's men, however, as they head into Thursday's match with just one win in nine matches. They failed to build upon the point earned against the South American champions early this month as they were put to the sword by a struggling Chile side. Paraguay's attacking woes were left for all to see as they failed to register a single attempt on goal in that 2-0 defeat. Notwithstanding, just three points separate them from Colombia who is in 5th place and as such, they're still well in the race for Qatar 2022.

Bolivia vs Paraguay Prediction: 1-1
Goals have been hard to come by for both sides and given this, we're expecting a low-scoring affair. Bolivia has had some joy on their own patch with four points from their last two matches and although the visitors have a better side on paper, we see the host leaving the Estadio Hernando Siles with at least a point.
