Sevilla have an outside chance of just snatching the LaLiga and as such, they would be keen on keeping by with the Madrid clubs and the Catalan giants as they go up against Athletic Bilbao on Monday.

The reverse match was quite a close game with the Basque club winning 2-1 for their first league victory against Sevilla since 2019. Would they manage to do the double against Lopetegui’s troops?

Highly-anticipated encounter on the cards

Sevilla’s recent run has certainly put them in the discussion for the league title. Although they’re in 4th, only three points separate them from the summit currently occupies by Atletico Madrid. They picked up their 5th consecutive victory- their 7th win in their last eight games- against Granada last time out via a 2-1 win and with Real Madrid coming up next, they would certainly want to head to the capital with the same momentum.
