The second leg of the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals kicks off on Tuesday with all sides vying for a place in the semis. Our attention for this one would be at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan as Chelsea and Porto, once again, go head-to-head.

Both sides met only a week ago at this same stadium in a game that was full of promise. The Blues were on their sparkling best with two precious away goals to eventually run out 2-0 victors. Can Porto once again shock football fans with an improbable comeback?

Tuchel’s wall looking unfazed

Chelsea kept yet another UEFA Champions League clean sheet last week in their first-leg victory. With that victory, Mendy has now kept seven clean sheets in his last eight UCL games with no goals conceded in the last three since Tuchel’s arrival. This would certainly prove to be a problem for Porto given that they need goals to give themselves a chance.

Porto couldn’t replicate the performance they put out against Juventus last week. They now find themselves two goals down against quite a remarkable Chelsea backline. They got back to winning ways during the weekend beating Tondela 2-0 away from home.

Ivan Marcano remains Porto’s only absentee as they head into this second leg game. Tuchel, on the other hand, would have a fully fit squad to pick from with none of his players being injured at the moment.
