Wolves vs Leeds United Predictions and Betting Tips

Wolverhampton Wanderers and Leeds United kick off this week's Premier League action with both sides going head-to-head this Friday. Read on for our expert tips and predictions.
Wolves head into this game unbeaten in their last six meeting with Leeds United, a run which included a 1-0 victory at the Elland Road last October.
Lilywhites eyeing back-to-back league wins
At some points, Wolves were in contention for a top-four spot in the league, however, a dismal run of three consecutive losses has caused them to bow out of the race. Nonetheless, Bruno Lage's crop has responded in an ideal fashion as they welcome their opponents to the Molineux off the back of two consecutive league wins. They swept aside Watford before putting out a stellar defensive performance against Everton last weekend- Skipper Conor Coady netting the only goal of the game. As mentioned earlier, Wolves are well and truly out of the top four race, yet, a spot in either the Europa League or the UEFA Conference League is still on the cards.
It wasn't a pleasant start to life as Leeds United head coach with Jesse Marsch being handed losses in his first two Premier League games. Leeds United gave a good account of themselves in both games and as such, a first league win for their American head coach was right around the corner. Said win was secured in dramatic fashion last weekend when they went up against fellow strugglers Norwich City. Rodrigo's early opener was cancelled out by a very late Kenny McLean equalizer and just as we thought both sides would share the spoils, Joe Gelhardt came up with the goods four minutes into added time to secure Leeds United's first win since Jack Harrison's London Stadium hattrick in January. Gelhardt's late clincher also arrested a six-game losing streak and it is then left to see whether they can use this as a platform to secure back-to-back league wins for the first time this season.

Wolves vs Leeds Predictions: 2-1
With just two wins away from home in the league this season, there haven't been that many pleasant away days for Leeds United and although we're backing them to get on the scoresheet at the Molineux Stadium, the hosts should eventually do enough for all three points.
