Porto vs Lazio Predictions and Betting Tips

Porto welcome Lazio to the Estadio do Dragao this Thursday with both sides eyeing a first leg advantage in their Europa League tie this Thursday. Read on for our expert tips and predictions.
Porto have the better head-to-head record between both sides with two wins in the three meetings between both sides.
Highly-anticipated encounter on the cards
Having lost out on the league title last season, The Dragons came into this campaign bidding to right that wrong and they're doing exactly that with Sergio Conceicao's troops six points clear at the summit of the league standings. A topsy-turvy 2-2 draw against Sporting last weekend put an end to their 11-game winning streak with their last loss dating back to December when they lost to Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Champions League group stage. This loss condemned them to 3rd place in what was a very competitive group and it is now left to see whether they can do what they did 11 years ago when they lifted the Europa League title.
Lazio was expected to secure the top spot in their group but they could only finish in second place with Galatasaray claiming the top spot for themselves. Their superior quality wasn't exactly on show in Group E as they could only manage just two wins in the six group games. Maurizio's troops picked up a much-needed victory against Bologna last weekend following their humiliating loss in the Coppa Italia at the hands of Milan. Season veterans in this competition, Lazio are now faced with the challenge of a Porto side who don't exactly find it difficult to score.
