It's Matchday four in the UEFA Champions League this Tuesday and we would see Atalanta and Man United compete for maximum points having done so two weeks ago. Read on for our expert tips and predictions.
Cristiano Ronaldo delivered once again, netting Man United's winner against Tuesday's opponents in the reverse fixture at the Old Trafford. Would the Mancunians pick up yet another win to take six points off their opponents ?
Ole with a huge win away at Spurs
Ole was given three games by the Man United board to try and save his Man United career after that disappointing 5-0 loss against Liverpool. The Norwegian managed to chalk off a win in the first of the three during the weekend as Man United got the better of Spurs at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. In a game where we saw the United boss not only field Ronaldo and Cavani for the first time, he went with three at the back with Greenwood and Rashford dropping to the bench. The change in tactic, however, worked perfectly as the Mancunian celebrated a statement victory courtesy of goals from Ronaldo, Cavani and Rashford. They still lead the way in Group F with six points secured so far and could well put some daylight between them and their opponents with a win this Tuesday.
Atalanta defensive deficiencies were left for all to see at the Stretford End as they still went on to lose the game even whilst Pasalic and Demihal had put them two ahead. As it stands, they're currently in 3rd place level on points with Villareal who take on Young Boys on Tuesday as well. Domestically, they've been a tad bit inconsistent picking up five points from their last three league matches. In one of those games, Udinese netted a late winner to pick up a point at the Gewiss Stadium, however, we saw Gasperini's troops return the favour to Lazio last time out thanks to a late strike from Marten de Roon. Would they use this as a platform to put themselves secure a huge win this Tuesday ?
Atalanta vs Man United Team News

Man United possible starting XI

Atalanta vs Man United Prediction: 1-2
The 3-0 victory against Spurs gives Ole some breathing room, however, it is paramount that they win here with the Manchester derby set for next weekend. Atalanta hasn't been the same team they've been in recent seasons taking into account their recent performances and as such, we see Man United winning this by the narrowest of margins.
