West Ham vs Chelsea Predictions and Betting Tips
The race for top four would be on the spotlight on Saturday afternoon as West Ham play hosts to Chelsea at the London Stadium. Read on for our expert tips and predictions.
Chelsea were comfortable winners in the reverse match of this London derby winning 3-0 on the day which put an end to the Hammers’ two-game winning streak against the Blues. Can Chelsea do the double in this fixture for the first time since the 2014/15 season?
Race for top four thickens
West Ham was beaten by Newcastle last weekend in a dramatic five-goal thriller. Defensive calamities were the order of the day for the Hammers as they conceded a couple of shady goals and to add to that, they played more of the game with a man less. This leaves them level on points with the Blues as they head into this game. Can they pick up maximum points and stake a claim on the UCL spots?
Chelsea, on the other hand, failed to take advantage of West Ham’s dropped points as they were held by Brighton at Stamford Bridge. If anything, they were lucky to pick up a point as the Seagulls, once again, were profligate in front of Kepa’s goal. Chelsea still has a trump card as they’re still in this season’s UEFA Champions League. They face Real Madrid in the semis starting next week.

West Ham vs Chelsea Prediction: 1-1
We have quite a game on our hands here with both sides level on points and at the same time, they’re both vying for a pace in Europe’s biggest stage. West Ham has proved to be the surprise package of the season with the side boasting the second-best record on home soil, bettered only by the league leaders. As such, we don’t see them losing this game given how flat the Blues could sometimes be.
