Liverpool in search of an immediate response
Liverpool were gifted their first league defeat of the season just before the international break against David Moyes' West Ham at the London Stadium. Nonetheless, they have no issues breaching their opponents' defence as they head into this game as the highest-scoring team in the division which we envisage would be needed against a Gunners side who have been recently solid at the back.
Arteta's troops are currently in 5th position and we expect their confidence to be at an all-time high with the side unbeaten in eight league matches- ten in all competitions. Just before the November international break, they did well to pick up their fourth straight victory in all competitions with Watford on the losing side of things via a second-half strike from Emile Smith-Rowe. This, astonishingly, would be their third consecutive clean sheet and their seventh in ten matches. Still and all, the Gunners usually struggle at Anfield with their most recent league win at Anfield dating back to 2012.
