Leicester City will be looking to bounce back from a monumental loss last time out as they host Sheffield United on Thursday. The football scene will tune in with kick-off set at 17:00 GMT to see which one of the teams will finish the season strong as they push for Europe next season.
The Foxes performed abysmally in their last match on Sunday. They lost to relegation-threatened Bournemouth as the Cherries fought from a goal down to win the match 4-1. The first-half break was all Eddie Howe’s men needed as Leicester City were ultimately left to rue their chances created in the opening half.
The Blades, on the other hand, beat Frank Lampard’s Chelsea 3-0 at the Bramall Lane courtesy of a brace from David McGoldrick - with a goal in either half, and a first-half bullet header from Oliver McBurnie. Sheffield United are absolutely flying at the moment with ten points from the last twelve games. With a combination of dogged defence and brilliant set-plays, they picked up three points against Wolves, Spurs, and Chelsea, couple with a hard-earned draw at the Turf Moor.
Premier League top scorer Jamie Vardy will be looking to stretch his goal scoring form to four consecutive games with another goal at Bramall Lane. Leicester City have however been poor during the course of those three games picking up just four points from a possible nine matches.
Chris Wilder’s faith in David McGoldrick paid off last weekend as he netted his first premier league goal against Chelsea on Saturday securing all three points for his side.
Leicester will be fairly confident given that not only did they win the reverse fixture earlier on this season, they also have a superior head-to-head record to boot as they have been unbeaten by their opponents in the last seven games.
Sheffield United will however want to use their current momentum to secure a monumental three points. Will Chris Wilder and his men manage to secure nine points from nine games against Wolves, Chelsea and Leicester ???
Brendan Rodgers will be without star defender Caglar Soyuncu via a suspension following his red card on Sunday. Ben Chilwell and James Madison are both doubtful for the hosts. They will, however, be without Marc Albrighton and Ricardo Pereira. With regard to the Blades, Chris Basham and John Fleck are both doubtful .

They will, however, have to go through a Leicester side who seem to be a lot stronger at the King Power stadium. Since both sides are playing for a place in Europe this season, the match promises to be a feisty encounter. Both sides are more than capable to nick all three points judging by their attacking prowess. The anybody win option, coupled with both teams to score option should be considered.
