The second leg of the second match in the Championship playoffs is scheduled for Thursday from 18:45 GMT. This time, Cardiff City travel to the Craven Cottage as they clash with Fulham for a place in the playoffs final. The football world will tune in to see which of the two sides will take on either Brentford or Swansea City at the Wembley Stadium.
Scott Parker’s men are heading into this game oozing with confidence as they claimed a precious 2-0 victory in the first leg. With the first half ending goalless, all the Cottagers needed was some advice from their manager as they headed into the second half in beast mode. They took the lead only five minutes into the second half courtesy of a wonderful solo effort from Josh Onomah. The Bluebirds had their own chances to equalize, however, it wasn’t until the dying minutes of the game when Neeskens Kebano doubled their lead from a well-taken free-kick.
The Bluebirds’ only clear chance to score came in the opening stages and it took a superb last-ditch tackle from Micheal Hector to prevent Robert Glatzel from putting the ball in the back of the net. They’d go into this match with a more attacking approach and will need to take more of those chances if not, it will be another year in the English second division.
Fulham did quite well without their top scorer Alexander Mitrovic who was ruled doubtful for both matches. Ivan Cavaleiro is ruled out for the home side. With regards to the visitors, their only concerns are long-term absentees Isaac Vassell and Greg Cunningham.

Fulham are heading into this game in their best form. Coupled with the fact that they are playing with a 2-goal advantage, a comprehensive home win would be considered.
