SJK vs FC Inter Turku Predictions and Betting Tips

There's midweek action aplenty in the Finland Veikkausliiga with all but two teams scheduled to feature on Wednesday afternoon. In one of those games, SJK welcome FC Inter to the OmaSP Stadion in a game where both sides will feel they can get all three points for themselves.

SJK managed to record only their second victory of the season after 12 round of fixtures. Although the team rarely concedes goals, their struggle to score them has been the main setback in the games played so far.

Honkavaara's second league win could be termed a hard-fought victory as his boys narrowly bested RoPS 2-1 on the day. A 25th-minute strike from Hetemaj fired them in front much to the SJK faithful's delight. They later doubled their lead in the 59th minute courtesy of Joonas Lepisto. Their opponents pulled one back but were not able to grab the equalizer as the Seinäjoki-based side emerged winners.

FC Inter, on the other hand, will be looking to do better than they did last term having finished just behind KuPS in the league. Having been knocked out of the Europa League, Rivero's troops can now focus on domestic tournaments.

In their previous game, they only managed to pick up a point away from home against FC Lahti. The Sinimustat had to overturn a two goal deficit with only 13 minutes of play left- Kallmann and Mastokangas grabbing a goal each.

In the two games played last season, SJK came out atop winning both legs 2-1. Will they be able to continue the dominance over their opponents come Wednesday? A man to watch out for in this game would be FC Inter's Timo Furuholm with the talented striker netting 8 goals after 13 round of fixtures.

SJK possible stating XI:

Ost; Mantyla, Tikkanen, Vainionpaa; Sid, Hetemaj, Hradecky Atakayi; Ledesma, Oliynyk, Ngueukam.

FC Inter possible starting XI:

Moisander; Ketting, Hoskonen, Haukioja; Connor, Paananen, Muniz, Benissan; Furuholm; Kallman, Kagayama.

SJK vs FC Inter Prediction: 1-2

SJK will surely be a lot more confident than they've been throughout the season given that vital win last time out. However, we don't expect them to grab any point/points from this game as they go up against a well rounded Inter Turku outfit.
