Egypt, on the other hand, finished in second place in the group stages just a point behind group winners Spain. Although it took them till the third game to secure their first group stage win, the Egyptians have shown that they aren’t a side to be taken lightly having kept two clean sheets in the group. However, they would certainly have to turn to their defensive solidity in this quarterfinals clash given the attacking talent in the Brazil side.
